Privacy notice

How AIM Architects handles the personal data you send us through this website. It is written to meet Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020).

Version 2026-10 · Effective 13 October 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by AIM Architects, an architecture, interior architecture and construction practice founded in Cairo in 2022. AIM Architects is the controller of the personal data described in this notice.

18A, El Obour Buildings, Salah Salem St.Heliopolis, Cairo, Egypt 11757info@aimarchitects-eg.com

What we collect

We collect personal data only when you send it to us through one of two forms.

Project inquiries

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • Your region, the type of project and an approximate area band
  • Your brief, and an optional link you choose to share

Job applications

  • Your name, email address and phone or WhatsApp number
  • Your education: degree, school and graduation year
  • Your experience band and the skills you tick
  • A link to your portfolio and an optional personal statement
  • Your CV as a PDF file

Our security tooling also sees technical data such as your IP address when you submit a form. It is used to stop spam and abuse and to limit repeated submissions, not to profile you.

Why we use it

  • Inquiries: to read your brief and reply to you.
  • Applications: to assess you for a role at the studio and to contact you about it.

We do not use your data for anything else, and we do not use it for marketing.

Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the form before you submit it. You can withdraw that consent at any time (see Your rights).

Where it is stored

Form submissions are stored in a Cloudflare database hosted in Cloudflare's European region. CV files are kept in private Cloudflare storage that is accessible only to authorised staff of the studio.

This means your data is stored and processed outside Egypt. Cloudflare serves the website from its global network, so a submission may pass through a data centre near you before it reaches storage, and the email notification about your submission is sent through Mail.baby, an email relay operated by InterServer in the United States. We use these providers only to run this website, and only with the protections described in this notice.

How long we keep it

  • Inquiries are deleted 24 months after we receive them.
  • Rejected applications are deleted 12 months after the decision.
  • New, reviewing and shortlisted applications are deleted 24 months after we receive them.
  • Hired applications are not deleted automatically: they become part of the personnel file and are kept for as long as Egyptian law requires employment records to be kept.

Deletion of applications, including the CV file, is automatic once these periods pass. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We use two service providers: Cloudflare, which hosts the website and its storage, and Mail.baby (InterServer), which delivers the email that tells the studio you submitted a form. That email contains the details you entered, but not your CV file. We share your data with no one else unless the law requires it.

Cookies

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The forms use the Cloudflare security challenge (Turnstile) to tell people from bots. We measure visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless.

Your rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Law you may:

  • Ask for access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete
  • Ask us to delete your data
  • Withdraw your consent at any time

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@aimarchitects-eg.com. Tell us which form you used and the email address you submitted, so we can find your record.
