AIM Architects was founded in Cairo in 2022. Design direction, technical execution and construction sit together in one practice, so what is drawn is what gets built.

Our team takes over everything, from the idea and the concept to realisation. Every project carries a considered image of its own and solutions that work in daily use.

Three partners
Design direction, architectural management and construction on site, under one roof.
Ahmed Ismael
Design Director and co-founder
Leads the design direction of the practice. He takes early concepts through massing and visualisation to architectural form that can be built.
Mohamed Alaa
Chief Architect
Leads architectural management. He joins the technical office's drawing and coordination work to execution on site, so the design intent survives construction.
Mohamed Elnoby
Site and QA/QC Director, co-founder
Directs execution on site: contractor supervision, quality control, budget and programme. He is the partner who makes sure the building matches the drawings.

How we work
Phase 01
Idea & start
Site analysis, a dialogue with the client, massing sketches and the first architectural schematics.
Phase 02
Design & create
Detailed drawings and models, renders of the proposed spaces and the specification of materials.
Phase 03
Build & finish
Supervision of the contractor on site, millwork and facade detailing, and commissioning at handover.
