Starting point
Every building starts with the people who will use it. We work from local tradition and bring it into contemporary design.
The practice
Welcome, we are AIM Architects
Our team takes over everything, from the idea and the concept to realisation. Architecture, interior architecture and construction sit within one practice, so the drawing and the building stay in step.
“The client is the soul of the project. We believe in traditions and incorporate them within our innovations.”
Our process
First sketch to handover
Phase 01
Idea & start
Site analysis, a dialogue with the client, massing sketches and the first architectural schematics.
Phase 02
Design & create
Detailed drawings and models, renders of the proposed spaces and the specification of materials.
Phase 03
Build & finish
Supervision of the contractor on site, millwork and facade detailing, and commissioning at handover.
Disciplines
01
Exterior architecture
Buildings conceived from structure outward: massing, envelope and the way a facade meets its street.
View projects02
Interior architecture
Interiors detailed with the same discipline as the shell, from planning to joinery and finishes.
View projects03
Landscape
Courtyards, gardens and public ground that tie a building to its site.
